Fresh Tropical Smoothie Bowl

This smoothie is a beach vacation in a bowl. It is refreshing, delicious and healthy!

The weather in Montgomery is starting to heat up and it finally feels like summer. I think the summer ~feels~ are getting to me because I was seriously craving a Piña Colada all day today. How random is that? Let me tell you, this smoothie definitely satisfied my craving. This bowl is so creamy and the lime juice adds an unexpected level of freshness.


Ingredients

Smoothie

  • 1/2 cup frozen mango

  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple

  • 1/2 cup frozen banana

  • 1/2 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)

  • 1/4 cup 2% Greek yogurt

  • Lime juice to taste

Toppings

  • blueberries

  • coconut flakes

  • granola

  • sliced mango

  • sliced kiwi

Steps

1. Combine and blend the frozen ingredients with the milk and yogurt. Add lime juice. Blend until smooth.

2. Scoop the blended smoothie into a bowl and add topppings! Enjoy!
